Jane Sullivan, the « calligra-fée » (the calligraphy fairy), welcomes you to her new web-site !
Here, you will discover her fantasy art and fairy paintings, her calligraphy, her illuminations: all part of a unique world of detail and delicacy, magic and music!
Jane holds degrees in Literature, Fine Art and Palaeography (the study of medieval manuscripts), with specialisations in Celtic folklore and mythology, and in Irish scripts of the early Middle Ages.  She is a devotee of the realm of Faërie, and also an amateur musician (the Irish harp).
You are warmly invited to visit her galleries of artwork (many pieces are for sale), to commission original paintings or calligraphic texts, personalised illuminated initials, or to enrol in her courses or workshops (held throughout France, and occasionally in Ireland as well!).  Feel free to contact Jane with any questions or to organise exhibitions, lectures or demonstrations.
